Mothers of Intention
Mothers of Intention are the 2007 winners of MusicOz in the folk section. Always a festival favourite, this is a group that never fails to delight with their beautiful 3 part harmonies, Rosie’s distinctive guitar work, and Tony [the token ’mother’] in a fiddling frenzy. Add the bubbly Lainey on whistles and the statuesque Penny on percussion and you have a veritable feast of folk | |

Sambafrog
Jean Luc Stora’s Sambafrog creates Brazilian percussive
music in a rhythmic rhapsody of sound. Add some Latin dancing to the mix and a mélange of Latin instruments
such as Surdos, Tamborim, Repinique, Agogo, shakers, bells, whistles etc and
you’ll want to close your eyes and breathe Brazil. Don’t sit on the sidelines of this act - get into the swing
and move your body to the beat!
